Software Engineer Senior – JAVA (FED)

What you will be doing :

• Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project

• Codes, tests, debugs and documents software applications

• Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented

• Demonstrates an understanding of payment system and the financial services industry

• Analyzes requirements, and translates business requirements into functional designs

What you bring:

• About 8 years of applications development experience

• Experienced building out a services platform or integration development.

• Excellent problem-solving, team, and time management skills,

• Min. 8 years of practical experience in a similar position

• Very good knowledge of Java (JDK 1.8/1.7), JEE, MQ, Maven, Hibernate, EJB 3.1, SQL, REST, XML, XSD

• Experience with Oracle and SQL databases

• Knowledge of WebSphere, WebLogic or Tomcat application servers

• Ability to work in a Linux environment with scripting

• Experience developing RESTful Web Services.

• Understanding of TDD, unit testing, and integration testing.
