JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting Charter personnel by providing overall contract oversight. The position is responsible for development and/or review of contracts. Also, responsible for managing contracts and contract policy for commercial contracts, and participates in negotiations with enterprise customers, national carrier customers, and 3rd party vendors/partners.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

End to end contract management of various types of contracts including new contracts, change orders, addendums, amendments, supplements, renewals and terminations.

Interpret and/or create necessary legal and business terms and conditions for contracts to maximize commercial revenue opportunities.

Ensure consistency in Service Level Agreements to meet and/or exceed industry accepted standards.

Coordinate contract reviews with Charter’s legal counsel to minimize potential legal risks.

Negotiate contracts with outside parties’ sales, management and/or legal teams to reach settlement and deliver executable contracts to executive management, with a succinct summary, for signature.

Achieve the timely execution of contracts in accordance with commitments and obligations to meet customer expectations and timelines.

Coordinate weekly with management to ensure current contract commitments are managed while focusing on timely delivery.

Develop, create, and maintain corporate repository of commercial contracts, through the use of a database for tracking, electronic and hard-copy storage of executed contracts.

Work with legal, regulatory, and services fulfillment departments to problem solving, implement changes, communicate compliance with contractual and settlement commitments.

Perform other duties as required.

Ability to analyze and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, regulatory orders, and legal documents. Ability to analyze and interpret data.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner.

Knowledge of commercial products and services.
Knowledge of financial clauses for credits and collections.
Knowledge of all functions and related tasks in the area of telephony service delivery.
Knowledge of telephony regulations for carrier access billing, collections, engineering.
Knowledge of IP network architecture, HFC architecture and equipment.
Knowledge of general accounting and billing procedures. Demonstrates ability to work cross functionally within a diverse team environment.

Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business or technical field, or equivalent experience

Contract Management experience – 5 Broadband/telecomm contract management experience – 2 Project Management and/or Business Development experience desired – 3

Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Management or leadership experience – 2+
