As a 2023 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors.
This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 5, 2023 and conclude on August 11, 2023.
About The Team
Our team works with IBS banking clients across the US to manage and execute successful security implementations for the IBS applications. With over 20 unique products that make up the IBS SAS Suite, our products and services support a financial institution’s desire to know more about each consumer, provide security, efficiency and be a leader in the digital age of banking. Any new associate joining this team will be exposed to a multitude of excellent individual learning and team growth opportunities in either the functional, technical or the project management world here at FIS.
What You Will Be Doing
- You will be communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear concise, and professional manner with team members, clients, and internal FIS teams.
- You will be managing project requests from start to finish for each project request assigned to you. This involves analyzing the scope of the project to ensure you understand what functionality is being requested. Make the necessary configuration and testing changes to ensure the feature is working for the teams you are supporting through implementation.
- Technical aptitude with basic knowledge of XML would be beneficial.
- You will be using your team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally as well as externally
- You will be using Project Management best practices and act as a self-starter, able to work independently
- You will analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools
- You will use your flexibility, versatility and dependability
What You Bring
- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study
- Rising Senior (graduating December 2023 through May 2024)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
