About the role:
This role is assigned cases for resolution of processing issues and functionality concerns.

About the team:  
Our team provides technical and application support for FIS DirectLink Risk Review, OASIS, SAND and TRIPS. We watch the ServiceNOW queue for incoming calls and assigns tickets to yourself updating the software with notes per service level objectives. We also work with the product software, Oracle databases, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, and Apache Tomcat to solve issues. Our team works the calls from start to finish until resolution and follow up and ensures we have a root cause analysis and preventative measures put in place where applicable.

What you will be doing?

This role is assigned cases for resolution of processing issues and functionality concerns.  The support technician will document client and internal updates along the case lifecycle through resolution or escalation reassignment.  You will work both independently and with senior technical staff to correct the described concerns.  You will work in both the software GUI , Oracle SQL database and/or Microsoft SQL Server  to resolve many issues.

What you will need:

  • 1-3 years Technical Support, Banking Operations, and/ or Customer Service

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational databases

  • Great troubleshooting skills

  • Great written and verbal communication skills.

  • Great personal work ethic and willingness to learn.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Core banking or item processing software experience

  • Service Now case management/ticketing experience

  • File transfer software experience
